ABOUT CANUCKS AUTISM NETWORK (CAN)

1 in 46 children in BC is diagnosed with autism

Founded in 2008, Canucks Autism Network (CAN) is a provincial leader in the field of sports & rec programming for individuals with autism.

CAN is also committed to promoting autism acceptance, understanding, and inclusion through community engagement and training initiatives across BC.

It is CAN’s vision for every individual with autism to be understood, accepted and supported in all community spaces.

Your participation in the CAN Pro-Am will help to take countless children, youth and young adults with autism off the sidelines — so that they too can enjoy the thrill of sports.

“I cannot put into words what it is like to see my son be a part of a team like this.

In addition to making his dream come true, CAN has given him a second home where he feels welcomed and accepted.”
